Orthopaedics Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outpatient consultations for patients with bone, joint, muscle, ligament, and spine-related conditions.
Diagnose and treat fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, back pain, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Develop treatment plans, including medications, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy referrals.
Review and interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and laboratory reports.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessments and follow-up care.
Perform minor orthopedic procedures in the OPD setting when required (e.g., injections, casting, splinting).
Coordinate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
Educate patients on treatment options, recovery plans, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

Medical Degree with specialization in Orthopaedics (MS/MD/DNB/Equivalent).
Board certification or relevant specialist qualification in Orthopaedics.
Minimum 6 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care.
Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal disorders.
